Brazil

Brazil is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east offering some of the best dive sites, where the variety and quality of the diving is incredible. There are five major diving areas, Fernando de Noronha Marine Park, home of 230 species of fish and a known breeding ground for spinner dolphins; Angra Dos Reis and Arraial do Cabo, features 40 dive sites including cavern and wrecks with excellent visibility; the Arvoredo Island Biological Reserve where required a permit, divers might luckily spot some whales; and the Abrolhos Archipelago, home to the greatest chains of coral reefs and a rare coral reef bank in the south Atlantic.
